My Studio Playlist
Music is so inspirational for me - as it probably is for you, too! To be honest, I don't normally create to music - usually it's watching something on YouTube or an array of streaming services. It's helpful because if something is playing on my iPad, it keeps it awake as I use my reference image. But! I do really love the music on my studio playlist and find it super inspiring, empowering, and puts me in a place of creativity - creating without getting too in my head. It's a freeing experience - and happens to be my favourite music!
So here's what I listen to...
So here's what I listen to...
First off, let's talk artists. Of course, without any shadow of a doubt, we have Taylor Swift. I mean, who doesn't have her on their playlist these days? Alright, now for the rest (who frankly deserve just as much praise and success as Ms. Swift!) Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo, Tophouse, Myles Smith, Bethel music, and Adele. Honourable mentions go the Twilight Saga Soundtracks and the Mamma Mia! Soundtracks. Yep, I said it.
Okay, now for songs:
Feather - Sabrina Carpenter
Nonsense - Sabrina Carpenter
Please Please Please - Sabrina Carpenter
Espresso - Sabrina Carpenter
Driver's License - Olivia Rodrigo (this song is the first and only song I've ever called a masterpiece)
The Mountain Song - Tophouse
Stargazing - Myles Smith
Back to Life - Bethel Music
Shine on Us - Bethel Music
Goodness of God - Bethel Music
Andante Andante - Mamma Mia
Roslyn - Twilight Soundtrack (only during the fall - for obvious reasons)
The entirety of the 21, 25, and 30 albums by Adele
The entirety of the Folklore, Evermore, and Midnights albums by Taylor Swift.

I hope you enjoy listening to the music I enjoy listening to - or at least find it interesting/intriguing (I get it - the Mamma Mia soundtracks are not for everyone!)
