ABOUT THE ARTIST
Bridget Brain
Welcome to my studio!
Hi! I’m Bridget Brain, an artist and art educator living in Toronto, Canada.
I love painting, mostly painting with acrylics. But I do love experimenting and playing with other media, like watercolours and pastels, a little bit of collage, and of course - photography.
My work is largely influenced by the emotional and spiritual power of being immersed in nature. I explore themes of light, femininity, and hope.
Art is so precious to me - the act of creating is so counter-cultural but so important for the soul. I want to help you experience that for yourself.

I believe everyone needs art in their life, from the very young to the young-at-heart.
I want to inspire and empower you to create beautiful art, and bring beauty and serenity into your life. I create free easy-to-follow art tutorials on YouTube for beginners, and offer lessons and courses for those who want to go further and improve their skills.
Are you a beginner or intermediate artist? My fine art courses (coming March 2026) are for you! Join my studio newsletter to be the first to know when they launch.
