ABOUT THE ARTIST

Bridget Brain

Welcome to my studio!

Hi! I’m Bridget Brain, an artist and art educator living in Toronto, Canada.

I love painting, and use acrylic paint. But I do love experimenting and playing with other media, like watercolours and pastels, a little bit of collage and of course, photography.

My work is largely influenced by the emotional and spiritual power of being immersed in nature. I explore themes of light, femininity, and hope. I create landscape paintings and artwork inspired by my Christian faith.

Art isn’t just a hobby or only meant for" “some” people - the act of creating is in our very being. I want to help you experience how art can enrich your life and make you feel human. I want to inspire and empower you to create beautiful art, and bring beauty and serenity into your life. I create free easy-to-follow art tutorials on YouTube for if you’re just starting out, and offer lessons and courses for those who want to go further and improve their skills.
